Ricardo Villalobos - Monostereo / Kornflakes [RV-10]
Ricardo Villalobos returns to his RAWAX series with Monostereo / Kornflakes, the tenth release in the series and a two-track 12" focused on his unmistakable approach to minimal electronic music. “Monostereo” locks into a deep, dubby and rolling groove, built around subtle rhythmic movement, warm pads and carefully layered textures. On the flip, “Kornflakes” takes a more abstract and warped direction, with smeared synths, intricate modulation and a constantly shifting rhythmic framework.
