Ricardo Villalobos ‎– Easy Lee / Dexter [ SED008]

Two landmark tracks from Ricardo Villalobos' acclaimed 2003 album Alcachofa, reissued on his own Sei Es Drum imprint in 2015. Easy Lee unfolds through off-kilter rhythms, hypnotic percussion and distinctive, emotionally ambiguous vocals, balancing melancholy with playful energy. On the flip, Dexter takes a more melodic direction, built around a brooding keyboard loop, subtle vocal fragments and intricate minimal grooves.
