MPU101 - MPU108 [TX046]

MPU101 returns to Ilian Tape with MPU108, a full-length album of atmospheric electronics, hazy synthesizers and understated rhythms. Moving between ambient textures, downtempo passages and broken beats, the record creates an introspective sound world built around blurred melodies, raw electronic details and subtle shifts in mood.

Across eleven tracks, MPU101 balances fragile, nostalgic atmospheres with more rhythmically driven moments. Tracks such as “sequential amen” and “skimming compact discs” unfold gradually, while “Fallout Systems” develops a deeper, more immersive electronic landscape. The result is a detailed and personal listening experience that explores the space between ambient, IDM and leftfield electronics.
